At ClickFund, the security of our users is our highest priority. In light of the recent cybersecurity breach involving MTN Mobile Money, we are taking immediate steps to protect our community and ensure your funds remain safe.
According to a public advisory released by the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, a cyber attack has affected approximately 5,700 MTN Mobile Money users. This serious incident is currently under investigation by the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), National Communications Authority (NCA), and the Data Protection Commission (DPC).
As a result, ClickFund has made the proactive decision to suspend all transactions through MTN Mobile Money effective immediately.
We are currently processing refunds for all deposits made via MTN between Monday, April 28th and today.
All affected users can expect their refunds to be credited to their accounts by Wednesday, May 7th, 2025.
To continue using our platform securely, we encourage you to re-deposit your funds using any of the following alternative payment methods:
Binance (Crypto Wallet)
Direct Bank Transfers
Other Mobile Networks (e.g., Vodafone, AirtelTigo)
